Amlodipine is generic Norvasc. 5 mg tablets cost pharmacies about a cent each. Ninety days of cash is usually a dispensing fee plus pocket change. If insurance is quoting $40 or $47, you are paying the plan, not the tablet. Ask for cash before they run the claim.
