What these amounts mean
The NHS Drug Tariff is a reimbursement schedule, not a tax or import duty. The CSV Basic Price is in pence; RxCompare converts it exactly to pounds (100 pence = GBP 1). Each amount applies to the listed pack, whose size and unit appear alongside it. A pack is not necessarily a month of treatment. Categories are retained from Part VIIIA. Check the official tariff and updates for concessions, corrections, and applicable reimbursement rules.
Coverage and comparisons
This is a selected single-ingredient subset, not the entire national market. This tariff covers England and Wales; Scotland and Northern Ireland are outside this dataset. Products, brands, strengths, release forms, and package sizes can differ between countries. Local product and package identifiers are not US NDCs.
