Who operates this site
RxCompare is an independent prescription-cost information tool. For privacy questions, requests, or corrections, contact contact@rxcompare.app. Do not email prescription records, insurance identifiers, or other sensitive health information.
Your prescription and calculator inputs
Calculations run on your device. We do not send medication names, cash quotes, insurance costs, quantities, or results to Google Analytics or another analytics or advertising service. Inputs remain in browser memory and clear when you reload. Optional medication links use URL fragments, which are not sent with HTTP requests.
Information processed when you browse
The hosting provider may process request logs, including IP address, requested page, browser details, and request time, to deliver and protect the site. Hosting-log retention depends on the hosting account’s configuration. When you email us, we receive your address and the information you choose to include and use it to respond to your request.
Cookies and browser storage today
Google Analytics may set first-party measurement cookies, such as the _ga cookie, to distinguish visits and measure aggregate traffic. We do not use Google Signals or advertising personalization. An earlier version could save cash-price reports in local storage under rxcompare.user-reports. We do not read or transmit those old reports. You can remove them below or clear this site’s data in your browser.
How Google advertising would use information
If we enable Google advertising, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to select ads using previous visits to this site and other websites. Google’s advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to personalize ads using browsing activity across sites. Ad services may also process IP addresses, browser or device information, page context, ad interactions, and similar identifiers for delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and other disclosed purposes.
Non-personalized advertising can still involve cookies or other data processing; it does not mean that no consent or disclosure is needed. We will not build advertising audiences from calculator inputs, prescription details, or inferred health conditions.

Privacy and cookie settings
Google Analytics measurement is active for aggregate traffic reporting. You can block or remove its cookies through your browser settings or Google’s browser opt-out tools. RxCompare does not use Analytics data to build advertising audiences from calculator inputs, prescription details, or inferred health conditions.
When Google’s European regulations message is active and applicable to you, the Privacy and cookie settings link opens its controls so you can review purposes and vendors, decline consent, or change a previous decision. The consent provider maintains the consent record; RxCompare does not create a substitute consent string or treat continuing to browse as consent. If the provider is unavailable, this link brings you to this information instead of pretending to save a choice.
You can also manage Google’s personalized advertising through Google My Ad Center, and opt out of participating companies’ interest-based advertising through the Digital Advertising Alliance’s choices tool. Those controls apply to their respective services; they do not replace this site’s consent choices or stop every advertisement.
Do not sell or share my personal information
RxCompare does not currently sell or share browsing data for behavioral advertising. If Google’s US state privacy message is activated and applies to you, this link opens its opt-out controls. While that service is inactive or unavailable, contact us at the address above for a privacy request; this page does not record an opt-out just because you visit it.

Ad partners and outside websites
No third-party advertising network is currently serving ads here. Before enabling Google ads, we will publish the applicable consent message and its actual vendor list. You will be able to inspect participating vendors, their purposes, and privacy information in that message. Google’s ad technology provider information explains the provider-selection system; it is not a claim that all listed providers operate on RxCompare.
Ordinary pharmacy links, disclosed affiliate links, and static sponsor cards take you to another service when you click. That service applies its own privacy policy and may receive a referral identifier. We use a no-referrer policy and do not append your calculator inputs to outgoing links. Your choices and changes to this policy
You may clear cookies and local storage in your browser. Clearing a consent provider’s records can cause it to ask for your choices again. Contact us to ask about personal information you supplied by email. We will update this policy when data practices change, including before any third-party advertising is activated.
