How the calculation works
Without membership = (nonmember quote + fee per fill) × fills. With membership = membership fee + (member quote + fee per fill) × fills.
A worked example
A $60 membership and a $5 reduction per fill reach equal total cost at 12 fills. Membership becomes cheaper at 13 fills, assuming all fills occur within the membership period. These are illustrative amounts, not pharmacy offers.
